About Us

Welcome to our online store! Are you looking for old fashioned, homemade desserts and breads?  Well you have come to the right place.  Warmia Bakery uses original, old world recipes which have been passed down from generation to generation.  The Bakery is named after a region in present day Poland, located in the North East of the country, being part of the Warminsko-Mazurskie Voivodship bordrering eastern region of Podlasie. One of the Warmia Bakery’s co founders originally comes from a town lying on the border of those two areas. This part of Poland is famous for its beauty, fresh air, fertile soils and organic food. The North Eastern frontier is wildly known as “green lungs” of Poland and has rich, over thousand years old, tradition of baked goods that can not be rivaled by any other in the world. The idea for the bakery originated when two friends got together with the goal of making baked goods from old polish recipes, true to the centuries old taste and tradition.  We make our cakes and pastries to order, with the freshest and highest quality ingredients, some of which are imported directly from Poland. Our motivation is to introduce the Triangle area to European homemade cakes and pastries, the kind you may remember from your childhood as made by your mother or grandmother. We will never sacrifice the integrity of our bakery and our cakes by cutting any corners or by using half measures to make our products. We are consumers just like everyone else and find ourselves disappointed with the taste and lack of quality of many baked goods currently available. We take pride in what we do, and never use any kind of mixes or preservatives and all of our products are made in our state inspected kitchen. We do this because we appreciate the taste of real food that generations have enjoyed in Europe. We hope you will enjoy the home made taste of our cakes and pastries, as much as we enjoy making them for you.

To see a list and description of our products click here.  Orders are accepted by phone, email, online form or live chat .  Products can be picked up at farmers market (location and hours will be posted when available) or delivered (minimum $20.00 order required), however delivery charges will apply for distances greater than 10 miles. Because we make our cakes by request, orders placed before 3pm are guaranteed to be  delivered the same day, all others may be delivered the next day. On occasion same day delivery may be available for orders placed after 3 pm, in such an event we will contact you. All bread, including baguettes, orders need to be placed 24h in advance. If you have any questions or need a special dessert not listed, please call us at (919)685-7321.
Please note  that prices listed on our website do not include tax, 2% NC prepared foods tax will be added to all orders!
